Ndicho

Ndicho is a multidisciplinary spoken word artist whom primarily tells stories through writing, performance and film. For Ndicho, art is evocative, art is introspective and art is tradition. Ndicho is a multi-year state finalist, winning the 2022 Brisbane heat and the 2025 Gold Coast heat. Additionally, she has been the April and September 2026 feature artist for the Alternator Poetry Open Mics on the Gold Coast. Ndicho was also selected as a finalist for the 2026 National Youth Poetry Slam. Ndicho passionately draws on themes of intersectionality, courage and lineage in her work. Ndicho is her great grandfather’s great granddaughter and aims to shine her Light, granting others permission to do the same.
