Volunteer Team
Story Week 2024

Do you have a passion for writing and poetry – and a love of live literary events? We’re seeking volunteers to help us put on the 2024 Story Week program and the Australian Poetry Slam (APS) Finals (3 to 18 October 2024).

Working in a friendly and supportive environment, our volunteers gain new and valuable skills, get a behind-the-scenes look at delivering a literary event, meet like-minded people – and, most of all, have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

We are recruiting volunteers across various roles  (including ushering for events, customer service, artist liaison, and production support) to join our team in Sydney during Story Week. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a minimum of two shifts over the period of 4 to 18 October 2024. We also have limited volunteer opportunities for the Queensland (3 October) and Victoria (5 October) APS Finals.

To apply, please complete the form at the link below and remember to email us your CV and a paragraph or two about why you’d love to volunteer and be part of Story Week 2024.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. We look forward to having you on our volunteer team.
