YOUR ROLE
Word Travels is looking for a skilled Project Manager / Administrator to help us plan and deliver creative projects, generate income and develop new initiatives.
As a key member of the Word Travels team you will use your skills and knowledge in event logistics, reporting, data / task management, fundraising strategies and high-level communications.
ABOUT WORD TRAVELS
Word Travels is a not-for-profit arts organisation with DGR status. We organise and create literary and literacy programs with companies, schools, libraries, and cultural institutions around Australia and the Asia Pacific. Our major programs include Australian Poetry Slam and Story Week.
Our mission is to inspire and empower diverse people to share their stories in creative ways.
We also run the following programs each year:
APS Youth: young performing writers education program
Multilingual Slam: 15 languages performed in one night
Story Week: International performing writers’ celebration
BLiP: Bespoke Literary Projects
Our programs focus on a wide range of participants including:
First Nations
Youth
Culturally and linguistically diverse people
Regional and remote areas
Gender and sexual diversity
Economic diversity
Neurodiversity
Disability
