KAITLEN WELLINGTON
My name is Kaitlen Wellington and I am a Yuin woman. I am a storyteller/emerging writer and have had my poems, ‘calbuyas initiation’, ‘spirits hope’ published in Guwayu – For All Times and ‘It’s about time’ & ‘Lost Booraiwaluwala’ published in the Australian Poetry Journal. My storytelling is a creative expression of my personal journey as, I utilise contemporary forms of storytelling to heal and reclaim my narrative as a sovereign Yuin woman.
I like to experiment with different forms such as; poetry, prose, play, visual arts and sound, as I allow my intuition to guide my creative process.
