Shema Mow is a 24 year old poet and a performer. She has lived in 3 worlds; Australia, Egypt and Sudan. From those experiences in each of those places, she grew a passion for writing and performing as a coping mechanism but she now writes and performs to liberate people by encompassing history and its importance for healing nations and addressing generational mental health issues as well as its connection to racism which has prevented us from evolving.
She has performed and championed in multiple nationwide dance competitions as well as mentoring and speaking with young people in youth ministries and schools in addressing mental health issues and faith.
