DAI MORET

Daiane Moret is a mixed-race Brazilian woman, bilingual poet, performer, MC, model and interdisciplinary artist. Dai writes and performs with the jazz band Ally as well as a solo poet and performance artist with the Tabula Rasa collective. She is a two-time Bankstown Grand Slam winner (2018 and 2022) and co-weaver of Sultry. Dai’s poetry stretches from political to sensual, always infused with Latin spice.

Her poetry has been published in Cordite, Belonging Mag, The Alphabet of Women Anthology and Epistolária, an anthology published in Brazil and Portugal.  

Dai has performed at Sydney Writers’ Festival, Vivid, Melbourne Spoken Word Festival, Story Week, Poetica, International Women’s Jazz Festival, Devonport Jazz Festival, Boom International Festival of Percussion, Paris Cat, Poetic city, Erotica Film Festival, Mother Tongue, Enough Said.
