Luke Currie-Richardson

Luke Currie-Richardson is a proud descendant of the Kuku Yalanji and Djabugay peoples, the Mununjali Clan of South East Queensland, the Butchulla clan of Fraser Island and the Meriam people of the Eastern Torres Straits Islands.

For the past 20 years Luke has been at the forefront of sharing vital and groundbreaking stories of Indigenous resistance, joy and solidarity through multi-artforms including dance, film, photography, spoken word and fashion. Through his diverse artforms Luke has carved a pathway in the Arts for young people from all cultures to follow. Luke thrives on mentoring the youth, and consistently works from a place of community, bringing people in from all walks of life to help generate strength and belonging.
