Ravi Prasad – Parliament on King

Ravi Prasad is a former award winning advertising strategist, who in a career spanning over 20 years, worked for agencies from EURO RSCG to Leo Burnett, John Singleton and Clemenger BBDO.

In 2012 Ravi shifted the focus of his life and work to pursue his interest in social justice and civil society and founded the Social Enterprise, Parliament on King, which addresses the barriers to social, cultural and economic participation faced by asylum seekers and refugees. 

The project has been recognised with awards including a Refuge Council Humanitarian Award and the Good Food Guides ‘Food for Good Award’. 

Ravi is also the recipient of a UTS Human Rights Awards, the 2022 NSW Human Rights Medal and sits on the City of Sydney’s Multi Cultural Advisory Panel.

In his private time Ravi has an active visual arts practice and was a finalist in the 2024 Lester Portrait Prize.
