Asha Naznin has built a name as the 'Queen of Quirky' poetry.
Her debut poetry collection Lover, Where Are Your Eyes? was published by Recent Work Press in 2024.
In 2023, Asha was commissioned by the Poetic City Canberra to write a poem on the Rudd Street depicting the love story of young Kevin Rudd, the 26th Prime Minister of Australia.
In 2020, the Australian Poetry Anthology has published her poem 'Midnight Lover'. Her poem 'A tree, two frogs and me' is on display as a sign in the Haig Park of Canberra (since 2020).
Asha has been featured at the Woollahra Gallery, Sydney Poetry Lounge, National Gallery of Australia, Manning Clark House, Girls on Key, Tuggeranong Arts Centre, Poetry on the Move, Smith's Alternative, Australian Museum and more.
Asha is a scientist and social scientist with two bachelor degrees from the Australian National University and an MSc from the University of Sussex, UK. She works in the cybersecurity industry and sits in the advisory board of an ACT Minister.
