William Jarrett

William Jarrett is a proud young Gumbaynggirr and Gomeroi warrior. He dedicates his free time to community service, helping elders and others with chores such as babysitting, lawn mowing, grocery shopping, and providing general care for those in need.

You’ll often find him supporting First Nations rallies alongside his mother, Lizzie Jarrett, and sometimes leading chants on the mic.

William is an aspiring and inspiring young poet who is finding his own voice through spoken word. His first poem is a dedication to the people of Palestine, which he has recited at numerous rallies and performed twice on stage at NAIDOC events this year.
