Liquid Lyrics returns with a little fire in its belly, bringing the Sunshine Coast together for an evening of outspoken poetry, music and connection as we explore what we stand for.

THEME: "WHAT WE STAND FOR!"

What gets you fired up?

What will and won't you stand for?

Whats happening in the world that you can’t keep quiet about?

This October, we’re inviting poets to bring those words to the stage. Injustice, corruption, the cost of living, the future of art and live entertainment, the people and places you love.

Whatever it is you stand for, we want to hear it!

Bring your passionate perpectives, your innner anarachist, your dark humour or your hope.

Rattle us with your revolution and remind us

"it only takes one person to change the world"

Come share your words or settle in and support those who do. There’ll be food, drinks and plenty of good company.

GUEST PERFORMER: Tessa Wilde

Tessa Wilde creates music for the ‘WILD Ones’. The rebels, seekers, and dreamers who dive into the depths of their soul, push the boundaries, and strive to break free from the limitations of the mind. Through high-vibe lyrics, vocal loops, and catchy melodies, Tessa takes listeners on an eclectic pop/soul sound journey that plants seeds of affirmation in both heart and mind. With a voice described as “if honey had a sound,” Tessa has captivated audiences across Australia and internationally. Tune in for a musical odyssey that will stir your soul and set you free.

Vegetarian food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase.

Content Warning: Most Poetry Slams and literary events are all ages and some content may not be suitable for children. Performances may include strong language and / or adult themes.
